How can we prevent pollution?
Air pollution is already trying to be stopped with the help of the government. Some governments have already taken action by introducing solar and wind energy. Companies are building energy efficient cars which cause less fumes than before. We can also prevent air pollution by taking the bus, train, or riding a bike when going places with your family so there will be less cars and fewer toxic fumes in the air. We can prevent water pollution by throwing trash away in the correct bins when near bodies of water. If you can't find a bin, wait until you get home. Another way is to use water wisely. Don't leave the water running while not in use to prevent the amount of dirty water that has to go through treatment. Don't throw chemicals down the drain or toilet. See if there is a local plan for chemical disposal. We can buy more environmentally safe cleaning products so they cause less harm to the environment. The government has laws to reduce water pollution and these laws mostly involve schools, hospitals, and market areas (they have to manage the sewage pollution). To prevent land pollution, you should first discuss it with your family and friends about how it affects your environment. You should reuse things that are in good quality instead of buying new things because then you would throw away the old thing which causes more land pollution. You should remember the three “R’s” which are Reduce waste, Reuse things, and Recycle things. For personal waste, you should dispose of it properly. For unsoiled paper, bottles, and cans that are not reusable, you should recycle them. For dead fruits and veggies such as bananas or even leaves, put them in a compost bin. For the rest, put them in a normal waste bin.
